Today arrived my new best friend. I experience hot flashes and I can’t say enough of this guy. I love it! Im impressed with the “turbine” like on the highest setting. I find very practical to have the control in the bottom front of the unit. I use it in my night table. The cherry on top was to be able to be able to set on the right angle to fan me while I sleep. I just hope it’s durable. We’ll see

Better than Vornado
As other reviewers have said, these are better air circulators than their higher-priced competition. I bought a couple and they made my home a lot more comfortable this past summer. They run very quietly on low speed; you will definitely hear them on high but it’s not the roar that many other fans make. They’re lightweight enough to move from room to room easily. I used them on their own as well as to boost ceiling fans, standing fans, and window AC.

Really powerful fan
I was pleasantly surprised when I bought this fan because I wasn’t expecting it to be so powerful!It has multiple speed settings so you can toggle through them to fit your needs throughout the day. The fan head itself is able to be angled on its stand which really helps when you need to direct air a certain direction. It should be noted that it can only be angled up and down and not side to side.The only downsides of this fan is that it’s a little on the heavier side and the highest fan setting gets a little bit loud. That being said it makes up for it by being so powerful. Overall extremely happy with it.

Quiet/Effective on Low
I tried this model and the small Vornado and this model is quieter and moves air just as well. Both were loud (white noise) on Medium and High, but I found for circulating air around my home during winter to only need to use LOW speed. Great way to set and forget while circulating warm air around home. ( works best if placed in cold room, blowing towards/into warm room to create negative pressure in cold room and pull in warm air along ceiling)

Not quite as quiet as I’d hoped
The write up and some of the reviews got my hopes for quiet up higher than was probably realistic, so I think this wasn’t as quiet as I’d expected. It is FAR from noisy and loud and definitely quieter than a box fan set at the same speed. It ABSOLUTE pushes lots of air a good distance, even on medium I feel a good solid breeze fifteen feet away. Since the unit is almost entirely plastic, I took off a notch for sturdiness, but I could be wrong — I haven’t tried to break it and haven’t dropped it on a concrete floor or anything, so I’m not sure. My opinion is based on other products with plastic that feels similar to me. I do wish it had a carrying handle like most other small and easily portable fans have. Also, the control is on the base, under the fan housing, so it is a little difficult to get to when the fan is in a low place (and mine is on the floor.)But it definitely pushes lots of air and pushes it a fair distance without an extreme amount of noise. Just don’t expect to not hear it on medium or high unless you forget to wear your hearing aids!

The fan is compact, reasonably put together AND powerful. I found the rotary fan speed switch old school in that it is not easy to switch, but it is not something you have to deal with often. I don’t like going from high to low on a rotary switch; doesn’t seem necessary to have a burst of speed and then slow it down. I find anything above the middle fan speed too noisy but it is very powerful at it’s highest level. I bought it on the recommendation of the NYT Wirecutter review and then cancelled that subscription; shopping online “…is like a box of chocolates. Your never sure what you are going to get.” Fortunately, unlike chocolates you may not like, you can typically return your Amazon product.

I need a little white noise and a little cool air at night. This fan is great at providing both. I did have an issue with it squeaking and reached out to Dreo. Their customer service team was prompt with helping me fix the issue.If you have this fan resting on carpet like I do, I recommend putting something solid underneath it, like a big hard back book. Otherwise, I run into issues with it squeaking.

For the size of this fan it does a good job. I bought it for our choir loft at church as it gets hot up there in the summertime. Although I will say I was very unhappy with the price I had to pay I think it was outrageous. However there’s nowhere to buy a fan in my small community so I was stuck getting something online.

I purchased this little fan for my guest bedroom. My guests always complain about the upstairs bedroom getting too warm and this fan delivered! I am very happy with this little fan. It is very powerful. Not very noisy. The strongest setting is very strong. I use this fan in conjunction with AC on very hot days to move the cool air around the room more efficiently, which enables me to keep the AC on very low and also it does not directly hit you as you are sitting in one spot! I angle it up easily and am able to control the AC airflow better. I believe this allows me to use less electricity. Not sure, but this does make me more comfy, as I am not a lover of AC and this makes it more tolerable.

Not 70 feet airflow
First off, it has 12 to 13 feet of airflow, same as Amazon fan. Nowhere near 70 feet.It DOES have very concentrated airflow in a straight line, whereas the Amazon fan has a more widespread wind pattern.The 1st power on option is very strong, the 2nd and 3rd are basically useless, like a personal fan tabletop 4 feet away type fan.No remote on either fan.The motor runs much cooler than the Amazon fan.It also has better positions, as the Amazon tilts slightly upwards instead of straight forward. And it can be in much more positions and stay there and not shake back into the position you dont want.The parts on both are plastic except the motors, but the Dreo seems to have better plastic.One thing I wish it had was a handle, like the Amazon has, as its awkward to try to carry/setup.Setting it up to point at you close up dries your sinuses up pretty badly also, unless its 13 feet away.I also wish it would be able to Oscilate, and think the Dreo Oscilating fan is way too expensive.I think the table Dreo should be 5 to 7$ cheaper, but it does have higher end parts, so thats it.I would recomend the Dreo fan, as long as you need straight airflow and know it does NOT flow 70 feet.

Really throws the air
I was skeptical, but this fan really does through air farther than others. It concentrates the airflow into a tighter angle than any other “regular” fan I have tried.It really circulates the air well for such a small fan. It’s worth the extra money if you need a better fan.

For my treadmill
We’ve got a nice treadmill with a built-in fan, but it doesn’t quite cut it. My old fan broke so after some research I got this. Easy to use, great column of air, holds position, and is super quiet considering the amount of air moving. I use the treadmill with earbuds in and could always still hear the old fan. I can’t hear this one at all.

This fan does not oscillate!
I needed a good, strong fan asap, since our new house has none in the bedrooms. I will say, this fan is extremely powerful. It blew some papers off my desk on the other side of my room. While the ability to tilt it up or down does come in handy, I was expecting it to be able to rotate side to side the way an oscillating fan is supposed to. This is stationary. So if you want it to blow in any particular direction, you have to move it yourself. it will not sweep the airflow from side to side. Also, this thing is loud. Not a rattling or rumbling sort of loud, but if you’re looking for whisper quiet, look elsewhere. I need the strong airflow, and it seems sturdy. I’m just disappointed that it doesn’t oscillate as advertised.

Powerful for its Size
I got this to cool my office a little in the Summer. As small as this fan is, it’s often still too powerful for my small space. It has three settings, and I wish it had some lower settings.But as it says, it’s powerful. In fact, if I face it toward the door of my office from the opposite side of the room, you can feel it in the waiting area about 30 feet from the fan. It does a great job of moving air and keeping the temperature consistent.It’s a great choice for a medium to a large size room.

Better than overpriced competition
I need to pull air from an under sized AC and push it to my bedroom in the opposite corner of the apartment. After struggling with pedestal fans, tower fans, and cheaper air circulators, I tried the expensive route of a Vornado. And broke it first time I cleaned it. So tried Dreo. Stronger wind force, quieter, sturdier build. Only complaint is that the tilt isn’t continuous, it has preset positions it clicks into. Overall Dreo is the best fan and at a great price. I now have one in front of the AC (this one) and an oscillating one in the hall (middle of apartment) pushing into the right direction depending on where I am. Dreo has saved my warm body in my inadequately cooled apartment. Thanks Dreo

Powerful Little Fan
My children are constantly complaining that their room is too hot. We’ve had three different fans that have never gotten the job done. This one, though? This little fan has made their 100 sq ft room downright chilly.On low, you can’t hear it at all. On high, it’s the perfect amount of white noise for sleeping. I don’t know about durability yet since we haven’t had it long, but it feels very sturdy, and I love how small it is!

I’ve done everything from honeywell to vornado, and this is my favorite now. Sounds great. Lower settings you can barely tell it’s there, and the highest setting just has a pleasant wooshing sound. Easier to clean than any fan I’ve owned before. The knob even feels sturdier and more satisfying to switch speeds than most fans. They sold me on just being easier to clean it and maintain it, because longevity is better for us as consumers, and better to not waste in landfills and recycle center. But everything else about it impressed me too. If I could, I would give it six stars.

Impressive new-ish brand
Fan brands are always in flux. The name stamped on the product doesn’t tell us the manufacturer. Anyway, I thought I’d take the plunge on this Dreo for two main reasons. The reviews were good, of course. But crucially, you can disassemble the fan for cleaning. That’s the game changer. I remember the good old days when all the Lasko fans came apart, probably before most of you were born, haha. This runs as quiet as any of them, the body is solid and sturdy, and the low speed is pleasant enough for a personal, in-my-face fan when it’s baking hot and I want to stream some Amazon Prime or try to sleep. My next fan will likely be a Dreo. I’m a fan fan.

Great blowing and sound on each setting: whisper quiet at lowest setting, medium is quality white noise, and high is good blowing but not obnoxiously loud. I use this for cooling, and for white noise to sleep. Quality product and plastic isn’t flimsy. Seems to be good company and good communications. Surprisingly strong air flow
There is an interesting room in the house that has a lofted area above it. While the room has an a/c unit, the loft is always sweltering hot in the summer. I bought this little fan to put in the loft, in the hopes that it could help create an air flow to pull up some of the cooler air from down below. It works! It doesn’t make the loft quite as cool as the lower floor, but it’s a far cry less oven-like than it was before. It has a lot of power for such a little fan, and it creates a pretty strong blast of air. I also like that you can adjust the angle of the airflow, by tilting the fan up or down. It comes with multiple settings, although I use the strongest one for my purposes. Also, to people who like falling asleep to the white noise of a fan, this one is a good choice.

After buying many cheap honeywell and amazon branded fans I went up to the Dreo. It’s only a little more expensive but a much better fan. The noise is quiet at low levels with no rattles and it moves a lot of air for the size. Highly recommend this brand.
