Put the air where you want it.

I already have a Dreo space heater, tower fan, and pedestal fan. This table top fan is also excellent. It’s powerful, quiet, efficient, attractive. It replaced a Vornado 660 which was the same size. – for the same price, the Dreo gives you 1,000 times more versatility. 9 speeds plus turbo mode. Connects to the Internet so can control it via the Dreo app (recommended) or Alexa or Google Assistant , or on the fan’s base. The remote is good but not lit for nighttime use and lacks full functionality of the app. This fan oscillates horizontally and vertically. In the app you can choose Arbitrary which allows asymmetrical oscillation so you can precisely limit the direction of the air flow rather than the defaults of 30°/60°/90°/120°. In the app you have an additional mode called Natural which creates an ebb and flow air breeze. The fan has a temperature sensor so if you choose Auto Mode, the fan adjusts its air speed accordingly. In the app, you can see what temperature the sensor is currently reflecting, There’s a timer, child lock, adaptive brightness option so the fan display goes off in a dark room. The app gives you instant access to the product manual. If you register your fan, the warranty is extended to 5 years..

    Buy the fan!

I got a pedestal fan from this brand and then got the desk top for another room. Definitely worth having the App capability! Remote is nice, but app is easier. This rotates up and down which is great when I want to circulate and not have it blowing on me. Sooooo powerful, this will freeze you out on high. These fans are wonderful for the super hot humid days. It really saves on not having to use more air conditioning in the rest of the house when all that’s needed is a little bit of extra air/breeze in the room that I’m in. I’ve even ran it outside when I was working on porch and made it so comfortable on a hot day!

    Small but mighty

We have a vaulted ceiling that traps heat. This fan quietly throws cool air on a medium speed about 20 feet from a register in an adjacent room and solves the problem better than our ceiling fans. I suspect it will help move excess warm air from the fireplace this winter as well.

    This thing is fantastic.

To say I am happy with this fan is an understatement. It is fantastic. Great design, great functionality, quiet. For a hundred bucks, I think this is a great value too. I’ve only had it for a few days and I don’t know how long it’s going to last, but so far, I couldn’t recommend this thing enough. The app lets me control the exact points of oscillation. I use this in the bedroom for sleep, and I have it set up to oscillate from head to toes, precisely. The remote is the only thing that is a four star for me. Design wise, it is a lot better than most remote controls, but I wish it had a few more buttons, for features that are only available through the app. Also, if I wanted to use it in the dark, without looking at it, the streamlined design, which looks great, makes it harder to use by touch alone.

Top notch customer service on your purchase.

I lost my remote control for theair circulating fan but after calling the Dreo support team several emails later, I was scheduled to receive a new remote via USPS. To me that was and is terrific, Top Notch Customer Service.

    Warranty and Customer Service

Best customer service provided by Carol. I had the fan since the first Prime Day which was June and it recently started making clicking sounds while turning. I reached out to them and simply provided a video and serial number and within the week they’ve send a new one to my house. Thank you Carol!

    Yes, it’s just a fan, but . . .

A review for a fan? In this case, yes. It’s not just your ordinary fan. My menopausal wife requires a constant breeze directly on her at night. The last fan was just too noisy for me, so I searched for “quietest fan” and found the Dreo. I’d never heard of it, but took the reviews to heart, (even though I often don’t always trust them) and bought one.I use a decibel meter with my line of work, so I measured the noise. It’s amazingly quiet to the ear, and to the meter. It barely registers over the usual room noise. Our room noise in the living room is about 39db. This includes the noise from the kitchen refrigerator and the sounds of the crickets and birds outside. Turning on the fan to 4 with oscillation only bumps it up to 40db. Of course you can hear it but it’s such a soft, subdued sound it’s negligible. Plus it puts out an amazing amount of breeze even at settings 3 or 4. Sure it goes to 11 (10 actually), but that’s not necessary for us.The oscillation feature, which is both horizontal and vertical, is very effective. It really circulates the air in the room, allowing a nice bump up in the AC temp setting. How long will it take to recoup my investment? I’d guess a couple months during a hot and humid Midwestern US summer. Is it worth $100+? We think so. Pretty sure you’ll find it’s the best fan you’ve ever purchased. We don’t use the included remote because we have enough remotes laying around, plus the app is great and works flawlessly.Excellent product! Highly recommended.

What a Blast of a Fan!

I mostly had Vornados and they are nice. This has more throw behind it and the remote is pretty good. 5 stars. The cord pulls from the jack easily though on mine. A keeper for sure. The vertical movement is wonders!

    Dead unit – Amazing Support

My only problem with this fan was that it didn’t actually spin. It oscillated, but it did not blow air.I opened a support case with Dreo on their website and received a surprising level of responsive support from Carol. Within a few days, I had a functional replacement shipped to me with very little work on my part.I’m impressed. Excellent customer support and the replacement fan works really well. The “natural” fan setting puts me right to sleep.

Feature Rich and Well Priced, Better than Vornado

I compare this to the smart Vornado fan. I own both. This fan is a bit insane for what it gives for the price. It moves just as much as as the Vornado, is quieter, works with Alexa and Google, can be disassembled for cleaning, has a great app, oscillates, and is cheaper.Hands down the best 12 inch fan I’ve owned. I liked it so much I bought a second one.

Great fan and excellent customer service!

We’ve bought four Dreo fans so far (three of this 11″ model and a 9″ one) and we love them. They put out a LOT of air — far more than the cheaper box fans we’d been using — and they do it pretty quietly. At the lower settings the noise is barely noticeable. The high settings are louder, but again nothing like the loud, cheap box fans. Having quieter fans was the main thing I was after when buying our first Dreo, but it turned out to be so much better at everything that I kept buying more to accommodate more rooms. What really takes things up to the next level, though, is the customer service. One of our fans developed a ticking noise when it oscillated to the left. I opened a support case with Dreo and provided a video of the issue, and they sent a replacement! I assumed we would need to open the fan up or tighten screws or something, but they just replaced it. I think it was maybe four days between contacting support and receiving the replacement. And they didn’t even want the old one back! It didn’t even have anything else wrong with it… just the ticking noise when oscillating to the left. Otherwise it still worked fine. It seems like they really believe in their product, and I’m guessing failures aren’t that common since they replaced it with so little hassle.Highly recommended!

    Love this fan!

I was definitely nervous about the price given I’d never heard of the Dreo brand, but I was ready to move on from Vornado after having 4 of them die after 10-12 months of use and the misery of trying to clean them. This fan has been great- it has outstanding air flow and the fact they made it super easy to clean was a big plus as well. It oscillates up and down AND side to side and comes with a remote OR you can connect it to your WiFi and use their app to control it. More bells and whistles than I thought I needed but I’ve since learned I wanted the bells and whistles without realizing it! Great product and I strongly recommend.

    Very powerful

It was a little bigger than I thought. Which means it didn’t fit where I wanted it initially, which was on top of a cabinet in my kitchen… it gets sooo hot in there. But where I put it instead works great! It moves the air like crazy. On full power it is quite loud. I haven’t gotten used to that yet. I keep thinking I’ve left an appliance on when I hear it. I am very happy with the purchase. It’s the most expensive fan I’ve ever bought but I’m satisfied. The remote works great. It doesn’t have to be pointed directly at it. Which is great because it’s up high. And I love that it oscillates vertically and horizontally. I’ve already recommended it to a few people.

    More than a fan

I’m loving this, it has a huge range of customizable features, is whisper quite, moves air like a wind machine, and it has a huge range of uses. I have airplants that prompted me to get an oscillating fan, found this model and given the price, (although it’s a short model, a stool works for me, as does on top of a table or bookshelf depending on what I want it to do). The only thing I’m not in love with is the port where the adapter plugs into fan, not a snug fit, but, it’s got to be better for the unit to lose power vs falling bc of a short cord or someone tripping over it.I’ve only had it for less than a week, but it comes with a solid warranty and it’s built quite well. Great weight, easy to get familiar with and multiple means of controlling it (touch panel buttons, remote and app), and serious air circulation power.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!

Legitimately my favorite purchase of 2023. This fan is POWERFUL! I keep it on my floor in the corner of my living room and it cools the room perfectly. This fan is better than any tower fan I’ve ever owned (and I’ve owned lots of them). I don’t even need to have the AC on in the room during 90F+ days!Buy this if you want a powerful, compact, and durable, and SMART fan for your room. The app is wonderful and I highly recommend this to everyone.

This is the best fan Ive gotten so far! Works with alexa. Changes positions on your phone. Has 9 speed settings + a turbo mode. Ive been using it in 7. And its not loud and even smaller than my last one! Love being able to say” alexa turn off my fan” lol

Would be 5 stars if not for temp and auto mode

Only had one day but like so far. Works with Google Home and has app to control so did not open remote. The manual is a bit lacking about the auto and temp mode. The temp reads 78 but the room is at 75. I don’t understand auto mode since there is nothing in manual for it, I put on auto and nothing about speed or oscillation changes. Maybe there is an auto update, did not see a way to manually update in app. Was making a clicking noise but it stopped; Hope it doesn’t come back.

    Sleek, quiet, powerful

If a fan can be pretty, this is it. It’s super quiet and the horizontal, vertical oscillating options are great. Easy to control using app on phone, remote, or Alexa! I use all 3 ways, depending on what I’m doing. It’s definitely worth the price.

    Skip Vornado for this

Ok all I have to say is I’m never buying a vornado fan again this fan is so strong I have to take all 3 of my vornado fans on max speed to match this fan on half speed. It’s is almost silent on lower speeds and is more powerful than any other fans max speed in low. Vornado fans are junk and maybe so is this one but it’s better junk than vornado fans. I’ve always had vornado fans and they always last for a year or two and start to rattle or squeak or make ticking noises and I have to throw them away because the 5 year warranty is a joke. This new fan is amazing it’s Wi-Fi and remote operated . Has a schedule where you can make the fan run automatically according to different temps you set . It has a thermometer built in to control the fan speed to your set temps. It’s awesome. Now I don’t know if it will last 5 years but even if it lasts the same or les than vornado it still beats it and is also cheaper with more features.

    Love This Fan

This isn’t the turbo air mover the photos suggest for an entire room circulator, however I sleep hot these days and being able to adjust this from my phone is beyond convenient. I can set it to oscillate to just the right areas on me and find the best intensity without having to touch the fan. If I wake up hot and need to cool down I can adjust the breeze exactly where I need it for a few minutes before resuming the set oscillation I had before. This is perfect for my needs. The gold finish is stylish. It sits on my night stand and I can keep the breeze off my face. There are various speeds available to keep it quiet while I sleep. Wonderful product.

    New fan after Vornado

My Vornado fan lasted without any issues for over a decade and it’s been a workhorse through harsh summers and restless nights. After it the buttons started pressing themselves, it was time for a new one. I decided on this one after careful consideration. And I could not be happier. It’s quieter than the Vornado, but it’s somehow more powerful. Plus, it’s wifi enabled and has oscillation features. You can even control it through an app. Would recommend every time.

    Wonderful for bedroom year round

I would give it 5 stars except the cord keep disconnecting even when I move it slightly while running. I am still learning its bells and whistles. Have contacted the manufacturer about the cord. Really hoping I don’t have to send it back.

I absolutely love this fan. It will do anything you want it to. The remote is amazing. The strength of the fan is exactly what I was looking for !!!I have suffered from night sweats for so long and no more, I use it in addition to my overhead fan! No more sweats, now I can enjoy my weighted blanket my best friend got me all year round! And it’s so quiet

    Quiet, versatile and great app

I am step by step upgrading our old AC fans with DC air circulators, since I want quiet and energy efficient fans that will also circulate the air in the entire room and don’t need to blow on you to feel cooler. I was looking for a larger sized model with good airflow that offers more than 90 degree oscillation to help circulate the air on our landing. Air stagnates there, which creates a significant temperature raise in this area in summer, and leads to warmer bedrooms. This model seemed to have all the features I was looking for.Pros:- Good airflow even on low setting due to size- Super quiet on low settings- Higher settings including turbo setting are louder but mainly because you can hear more air flowing (motor itself seems to be still pretty quiet)- Can be used as personal fan on low setting and does not have that choppy air feel that some fans have- App is great and extends functions of the remote (wider oscillation, set up schedules etc.)- Circulates the air in smaller rooms very quickly. Larger rooms with faulted ceilings take more time to fully circulate the air. However, since you can feel air movement before the cooler and warmer air are mixed, it creates a more comfortable feel quicker than expected.- Work great in conjunction with AC and helps circulating the cool air throughout the entire room.- Customer service is great. I had a few questions and Carol from customer support was very responsive and helpful, both pre- and post purchase.Cons:- Since the power cable is similar to laptop power cables, the plug into the fan is round and disconnects somewhat easily when you move the fan. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning- On higher speed the wall adapter gets warmer than expected. Based on Carol from customer service the adapter will not exceed 50C (122F) on full load. Had it running on turbo mode for a few hours and the adapter did never got that hot.In conclusion. If you are looking for a quiet air circulator that has the ability to circulate the air in an entire room, has the ability to oscillate 120 degrees (with app), and can be used as personal fan as well, this product is a good choice. If you are mainly looking for a fan that blows on you and you like the fan white noise, then you may want to look at traditional fans.

Quiet, powerful, 3D moving, it is worth every penny.

This is the best fan I have owned, and I have owned a few over the years. I love the flexibility to use remote control, or a smart phone to control the functions. Also, the ability to rotate up, down to the sides, or a combination. It has a clock to program time, also a temperature reader. What can I say, it is just a great fan.

Wow, this thing really moves air

I run hot. And I don’t tolerate it well. For about 7 years, I had a Rowenta fan sitting atop a shelf and for about 9 months out of the year, it would blow air down at me during the day so I could remain comfortable while I worked. Then, it began to fail. Noise, fan blades stopping, not good. I decided to try something different. This Dreo fan is something else. I did need to add some wedges under its back edge so it would run from roughly the same direction, but I’d say the airflow is easily 3x the previous shelf fan, even at the lowest setting.Took some doing to get it set up with Wifi, but I was able to manage eventually and now Alexa can control the fan. Anyway, quite happy with it for now.

    Powerful and very customizable

Many levels of control, very powerful without being exceedingly loud, quite quiet but effective at low speed settings, outstanding control over angles and speed, looks good for an oscillating fan, DC – should be power efficient.Downsides: the cable tends to disconnect when moved, remote hard to operate in the dark without backlighting as there are many options and buttons all feel the same. It’s hard to tell where is centerline when moving it.

Quiet, but powerful fan with smart home integration

This fan has everything. It’s powerful, but very quiet compared to my Costco Cascade tower fan. The vertical and horizontal oscillation positions are highly adjustable with 120 degrees of horizontal angle and 90 degrees of vertical angle (can point straight up). The LED touch display automatically adjusts to ambient light; it turns off in complete darkness. The remote feels premium with its soft touch plastic and rubber buttons. The power button has two raised bumps like a TV remote. Although, once you connect this to your smart home (Google or Alexa) and smartphone app, you won’t really need to use the remote. There are voice commands to turn on/off the fan, increase/decrease fan speed, turn on/off vertical/horizontal oscillation, and enable sleep/auto/natural/normal/turbo/custom modes. In the Google Home app, you can turn on/off the fan or the vertical/horizontal oscillation. You can also mute or unmute the beep, which is already quiet compared to other fans. Within the Dreo app, there are more advanced controls like manually adjusting the oscillation angles, limiting the oscillation angles (30, 60, 90, 120 degrees), and setting a sleep timer. This fan also has a built in temperature sensor that shows up in the app. The app UI is great and there’s a dark mode.My only nitpick is that there should be more controls in the Google Home app like changing fan speed, but you can do that by voice. Also, the temperature sensor doesn’t show up in the Home app, but these sound like a Google issue. All in all, it’s a well designed fan with a great smart home and app experience.

    Incredible fan

I bought this for a small den, and all I can say is the oscillating motion will keep a room cool beyond belief. The rotation make sure that everybody in the room gets a little bit of cool air. It’s compact and quite sturdy. If you’re a prime member buy it and you can always return it. I did not return mine.

    Super fan!

I loved this fan so much that I bought another one. I really didn’t think I’d use the app since it has a remote but to be honest, I don’t even know where the remote is. The app is awesome! All the settings are there and is set up in a way that is really easy to use. This thing is a must for anyone going thru menopause! It is on the quiet side and puts out a great deal of air.
